Jennifer Cornwell LMFT, CSAC, SAP
Aloha, my name is Jennifer Cornwell, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Certified Substance Abuse Counselor, and Substance Abuse Professional. A little about myself, I was born and raised on this beautiful island of Oʻahu. As a young girl, I always loved to wonder, dream, explore my surroundings, and question life. As you can imagine, these traits sometimes put me on crazy adventures. I believe those adventures shaped who I am today and greatly influenced my therapeutic style. With that same curiosity, I have come to believe that everyone has a special story unique to their own circumstance, and as a therapist, I am here to help clients understand, navigate, and uncover their story. We are all uniquely our own and so the approach differs on the needs of the individual or family. My background includes art, cognitive behavioral, play, dialectic behavioral, solution-focused, narrative, structural, psychoeducational, and EMDR therapy. Like every adventure in life there are always challenges that come up or a crossroad to go through, and that is where a trained ear can make the world of difference!

Michelle Wong, MA (Pre-Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist).
Aloha! I’m Michelle Wong, a Pre-licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Hawaiʻi with clinical experience working as a Behavioral Health Specialist in the Department of Education and in private practice. Being born and raised on the island of Oʻahu and growing up in a multicultural household, I have learned to embrace diversity with tolerance and understanding. In my adulthood, I had circumstances that were challenging in many aspects of my life. I started consistently using mindfulness to overcome obstacles and increase my resiliency. My therapy style involves a cultural sensitivity approach that uses evidence-based theories to create a safe and supportive environment. I implement a variety of therapeutic approaches that I tailor to my clients’ needs which consist of cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, solution-focused, narrative and art therapy. I believe this method provides the most effective and personalized treatment plan.
My first clinical experience with the Department of Education as a Behavioral Health Specialist was a great opportunity to work with a diverse group of children and adolescents. This allowed me to work with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, ADHD, autism, grief/loss, sexual abuse, and relationship issues. My passion is to teach my clients the necessary skills and tools to be resilient and overcome obstacles in their social and emotional aspects of their life. My current professional work in the private practice setting has given me the opportunity to also work with people of different age groups that come from different walks of life. I believe we can overcome any challenges in life by trusting the process, seeing from a new perspective and learning necessary skills. Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time in nature and traveling. I do this for my self care and to balance my personal and work life.
Dianne Bright-Tosie, MA (Pre Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist).
In our world today, it is not uncommon to experience life stressors and trauma that can become overwhelming, leaving a person to experience a loss of hope and stability. My greatest passion is working with people who are experiencing these things to be able to provide healing interventions and equip them with the tools they need to face future difficulties and work through them more easily and successfully. My clients include individual adults, couples, children, and families. I help my clients find solutions, healing, and peace so that they can thrive, feel safe, and experience a renewed feeling of hope, happiness, and stability moving forward in life.
I have been trained in a range of modalities, such as solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and experiential, intergenerational and structural family therapies, among other modalities. My educational and work background includes a Master of Arts degree from Argosy University in Hawaiʻi, and an undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Michigan University. I have over 40 years of professional work in the fields of mental health and social services combined.
When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my adult children, my grandkids and my hanai family, having fun and making cherished memories.
